In 2001, I took the “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”five-day, “killer” workshop. Though I had been convinced all my life that I had no gifts for drawing, during that week I learned to draw. Here are some samples from the few years following that experience.

“Capri Girl,” after Sargent, colored pencil on paper

RSGRacey, Lady Agnew, after Sargent, 2002, pastel on cardboard

“Lady Agnew,” after Sargent, pastel on cardboard
“Untitled portrait,” pastel pencil on paper
“Vanderbilt gardens,” pastel on paper
“La Poire,” plaster cast drawing, charcoal on paper
